31 Days of Video Games: Day 12

There are great games out there, but this is a game that everyone should play.

Day 12: A game that everyone should play.

Everyone has different tastes in gaming, some people love shooters while others only play RPG’s. But at the end of the day there are games that people of any genre can play and enjoy. But sometimes after being spawned killed for the 6th time in a row, or after being mauled by zombies, a gamer will need a break. Something that I love to do when I’m stressed is to listen to music. Also by being a gamer certain video games will make me relax too. So why not mix the two together.

In the game Beat Hazard you can exactly that. Beat Hazard is like the classic game Asteroids on acid. When you start the game up you will get a screen warning you that if you have a history of seizures, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. The bright stroboscopic lights and intense beats will trip you out when you first play it.  The way Beat Hazard works is that it scans your music folder and builds the level around each song it so that each song will have different waves of enemies and won’t feel the same for each song. Intense sounding music= EPIC LEVELS. Any audiophile/gamer should definitely check this game out.
