Pokemon Black/White Review

Has the vast world of Pokemon come into a new golden age or were we delivered the same game that we usually get?

Beast Notes Version: Game Freak has successfully revitalized the Pokemon franchise. The visuals of the game have improved, the gameplay feels alot faster, and the story aspect of the game is actually noticeable. You go through the vast adventure with 2 rivals this time and a new gang to fight; Team Plasma. Whos views are very controversial to the pokemon universe, stating the keeping pokemon in pokeballs is wrong. Game Freak took a step in the right direction with the HeartGold and SoulSilver reboots, but Black and White comes out as the new face for next generation Pokemon games.

What You’ll Like

  •  New 3D environmental visuals
  • Unlimited TMs
  • Better Animations
  • Faster Gameplay
  • More story driven

What You’ll Hate

  • Rivals battle you ALOT more and the worst times
  • Certain types can be difficult to find
  • Some pokemon designs are dumb. Trubbish and Vanillite >_>

Final Verdict:

Buy It: If you are a Pokemon fan or a former fan, this game will make you fall in love with the franchise over again.

Rent It: If you just want see what everyone liked, experience the game once, and not pay 30 bucks for it.

Skip It: If you don’t like Pokemon at all.
